HeroScribe

HeroScribe is a brilliant Quest Map Design tool capable of exporting in vector graphics, as well as PDF and PNG format. Design maps in both European and North American versions with icons from all official expansions.

Excel Quest Creator

Although HeroScribe is recommended, this is a Quest Creation Tool using Microsoft Excel. Just copy and paste the provided icons onto the Map and fill in the notes. Familiarity with Excel is recommended.

Quest Map Icons

The icons available below expand HeroQuest with new traps, monsters, furniture, tiles, etc. You do not necessarily need to use each icon as its designer intended. Feel free to use them with your own ideas to expand your game as you see fit.

Trap Icons

Lightning Bolt Trap

Trap Icon designed by Jonathan Usiak. Uses rules similar to the Chaos Spell Lightning Bolt.

Spiked Floor Trap

Trap Icons designed by drathe. Uses rules similar to the Swinging Axe Trap in Against the Ogre Horde. File contains both Trigger and Trail Icons. As seen in drathe's Quest Vengeance for Vengeance.

Icon designed by drathe to mimic the icon used in the Eyes of Chaos quest published in White Dwarf Magazine so that fans can use it in their own quests too.
